Gordon Bowman has been a playing member of the North Shore Concert Band basically since it’s inception over 45 years ago! Through directors that formed the predecessor of what is today the North Shore Concert Band he been there through all of that! He was part of the team that formed the 501,C3 Corporation which is today’s North Shore Concert Band! Gordon has been instrumental in the efficient and consistent operation of the band having served as the Band Manager, throughout his years with the band!

Gordon has scaled back his involvement and it has definitely had an impact upon the band! His position as Band Manger has been filled by three people and still leaves a bit of a hole!

We cannot say enough good things about Gordon’s past, loving and giving nature in all aspects of band operation, including his performances as a trumpeter in concerts over the past 45 years!
